This morning when I woke up, I did 7 min of Kathryn Budig's Aim True Yoga beginner's practice, and 7 min of Rodney Yee's A.M. Yoga for Your Week hip openers practice. I had to quit after 7 min of each though, because I'm not feeling well.
Any recommendations for practicing when your head and nose are stuffy so you can't breathe through your nose and inversions make you dizzy and ill? I already took a decongestant, and I skipped the inversions on the second DVD. I know legs up the wall is supposed to boost your immune system and help drain your lymph system, but I honestly think it's too much like an inversion for my head to handle it right now.
Anyway, enough about me. It's the start of a new week! How's everyone else doing?

Date: 2011-09-12 02:21 pm (UTC)This morning was Daily Energy - Earth, Water, Savasana. I sweated and worked hard, but it went well, so I am getting back into yoga shape, I think. Except I tweaked something in the back of my left thigh that I am hoping will be gone by Wednesday (tomorrow is my easy practice day, but Wednesday, I'd like to do a whole hour of something power, so I'd like to not have an injury. *glares at hip*).
