Got a favorable response from other folks who are interested in supporting each other in getting back to more daily practice.
My suggestion is that we aim for a post each day, whoever is able to put one up does so, and then others can chime in with how they're doing in the comments..
Something hat I think will help me is to acknowledge the hard stuff (my edge), and give myself credit for my "success". I'm going to call those a "lotus" to start out, because I'm cheesy. :P And for me, I think I'm going to divide yhose out between poses and practice.
/process. And pleasenforgive my writing, I'm touchtyping on a tablet, and it's a bit maddening.
So my practice lotus today was that I practiced for a full 45 min. I followed a morning dvd routine for beginners, and it was just right
My practice edge was a lack of focus, I kept wanting to pause the dvd, and get a glass of water, but I stuck through.
My pose edge was how stiff I was doing a hamstring stetch.
My pose lotus was that because I was stiff, I paid a lot of attention to my alignment in warrior pose,

refocusing my awareness on staying with the growing edge of my practice, rather than "succeeding" at a pose
acknowledging something that I'm struggling with and letting go of it; like with intrusive thoughts during meditation
explicitly taking time to acknowledge accomplishing good things (this is an ongoing piece of therapy work for me, naming being good at something, even small things, rather than dwelling on perceived failures)
