daily practice

I just did the hip openers segment of Rodney Yee's A.M. Yoga for Your Week, which was 25 minutes. I usually find the segments on this DVD to be too difficult for me to make it through the entire thing, so I'm really pleased that I made it all the way through this one. It was mostly seated poses, but after my adventures weight-lifting yesterday, my legs really needed a stretch, which this segment provided. Yay for yoga!

How is everyone else doing today? Managed to carve out any time yet?

I spent a luxurious HOUR on yoga this morning and also tried a DVD I got ages ago but have never put in: Maral Hadidid: Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Grace, Power, Surf, and Sunset, Intermediate & Advanced. It is actually 95 minutes. I skipped the Headstand section and then bailed at the beginning of the Plow/Shoulder Stand section. Hoping to do the whole disc tomorrow morning. :) It was a really lovely DVD, btw. I liked the instructor, and teh ability to choose your musician.

I have managed only a bit of stretches and twists, with savasana before bedtime.

But still, something!
