40 Days of Yoga

sun_salutationStarting October 1, the studio I go to is sponsoring the 40 Day Challenge: to practice yoga for 40 consecutive day.
Of course, they'd like people to come to a class every day for 40 days. That would rock, but I won't be in town for the whole month. So, I'll be doing this challenge like I did last year: finding my own practice for 40 straight days.
I did finish, but to be honest, there were a couple days in that 40 where "yoga" was a few minutes of mindful breathing.
It counts.
And that is kind of the point - yoga is more about finding the space in your life to take a few breaths.
