30 min of vinyasa fow, Dave Farmar podcast
One of the things I really appreciate about Farmar's podcasts is his assurance that a more challenging expression of a pose or flow isn't necessarily better. I confess the full podcast was an hour long, and I was struggling to keep up by 30 min, so I moved into cooling down and turned it off.
And then I struggled.with feelings of failure while lying in savasana. And realized that those feelongs were as much about the work stuff that had happened first thing in the morning, as much as my yoga practice. And at root, they are both my struggle with naming and accepting my limits, and the consequences of having limits.. Limited energy, or time, or strength or flexibility or...
I'm grateful this morning for the practice of self reflection that comes with my asana practice.
