That's not yoga

I have been reading the occasional review for this and that over on Amazon and have been amused at how the one-stars tend to conclude with comments such as, "this really didn't feel anything like yoga to me" and "it is an exercise video, not a power yoga video." Both cases were people criticising a fast moving program for not taking the time to develop postures for either strength or flexibility. "More like modern dance" one of them said.
Of course, upon my first exposure to Kundalini, I was like, huh? So I can hardly be offended if an "Astanga practioner" is appalled at a fast "vinyasa flow" DVD.
There are over 200 forms of yoga, according to some thing I read somewhere.
I guess I was reading DVD reviews, where people need to make an evaluatory comment. But I think "this is not yoga" is not very helpful.
Anyway. Random yoga thought of the day.
