That teacher is great! I think because of his work with Theater of the Oppressed, he's a bit more fearless in his teaching than any of the others. He'll have you doing creative things and partner work.
I... erm... tend to avoid his classes because the surprise partner work makes me unhappy because I have issues significantly fat. Oddly, I have hardly any other issues with being fat, but oppressing (~g~) someone else with being my partner is apparently one of them.
But, yes, there are many fun ways to hang out with me in the near future, and I just wrote up a list of them, so I can just cut and paste:
Saturday, September 24 2-3pm there's a meeting preparing for the trans* march (I don't know the location, but I'll be busy because I'm hosting..) 2-6pm Roman cooking workshop (cooking recipes from 4th century roman cookbook)
Sunday, October 2nd 1-5pm BiUnity jewelry-making day - I'll be providing brunch, and we'll be making buttons and jewelry to sell at OutFest
Saturday, October 29 Mazzoni Center's Night of a Thousand friends (I haven't planned this yet, but I'm thinking of hosting a fundraising party for them)
and I've just passed more details to R.A.G.E. (re: SEPTA - Riders Against Gender Exclusion) to see about hosting a potluck or fundraising dinner sort of thing.
